Northern California Herding Group Association

1. To encourage, promote and protect the quality of all dog breeds of the Herding Group as recognized by the American Kennel Club and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

2. To urge members and breeders to accept the standards of their breeds as approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standards of excellence by which dogs should be judged at American Kennel Club licensed or sanctioned events.

3. To hold at least one American Kennel Club licensed and/or sanctioned show and/or event each year.

4. To encourage and promote good sportsmanship in all activities.
